Public Relations Officer Job Summary

This is a one-year position that involves being the Club social media administrator and correspondent. 

Being the Public Relations Officer entails:
Managing social media and correspondence.
Manage the Club’s public Facebook site to increase awareness of the Club and its civic activities and programs. 
Work with the publicity chair (if a separate person) and website team to coordinate publicity for public Club events and programs. 
Send invitations for events to other clubs and outside groups as directed. 
Send cards, gifts to members per ‘joys and sorrows’ policy. 
Send thank you notes to businesses for donated monies or gifts.
