In our Community

From plant sales to flower shows, from gardening in town sites to its Garden Therapy program with seniors, the Holliston Garden Club is an active member of town, civic and horticultural communities.

In 2023, the club will celebrated its 90th Anniversary, making it one of the longest continually running community organizations in Holliston.

The mission of the Holliston Garden Club is to stimulate knowledge and love of gardening and floral design, to aid in the protection and conservation of natural resources, and to promote the beautification of our town.

The HGC is a member of the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts (GCFM) and the National Garden Club, New England Region (NER).

Our members contribute to both organizations by serving as board members, judges,  landscape and floral designers, and teachers for many GFCM and NER programs.

The HGC has won numerous awards for their efforts and projects, including the landscape design for the Holliston Public Library, contributions to the town’s Rail Trail, and the Tree Detectives children’s program, as part of our yearly Arbor Day celebration.
