The committee plants and maintains the island at the intersection of Norfolk and Franklin.
Currently the island has a Ninebark planted in the center, with a variety of low growing
perennials planted around it. We do spring and fall cleanups, watering of any new plantings if
needed, and weed several times during the summer. We also determine if new plantings are
needed, purchase the plants (the club has a budget for this), and put in the new plants.
